About Us
The Green Table was established in 1961 and was initially located in the garage of a founding member. It moved to the present site in 1966 into what was initally a farm house in the area and is still going strong. It was formed by some of the local Dutch community as a place to meet with some “Like Minded” people to enjoy a chat and a ale or two.
These days it’s renowned for the multicultural membership and homely atmosphere. All year round there is a vast range of music played and during winter you will enjoy the log fire. From time to time there is live music and included in the membership fees are the BBQ food provided on Grand Final and Melbourne Cup days.
Not only that our bar prices are extremely low as we are a not for profit club. Non members need to be signed in at the door and are required to become a member after four visits.
